Tuesday, March 11, 2008 ( @ 3:09 PM ) Today, i am going to post about friends I would like to talk about some people in my life who are my friends, REAL friends, true friends, and good friends. Note:the names are in random order(so don't feel inferior.) Okay the first guy, is probably my best and true friend and i regard him very highly. He is, Ian yang, yes he is, and if you're reading this, i regard you as a true and a very good friend. I've known ianyang since like, primary 1? It all started when we took the same school bus, we started playing quest and all, i'll always remember those days haha. We were quite the opposite i must say, he was from a very educated family and his studies were always the top, whereas me, i was just a normal kid, or sometimes lower than that, i was never anywhere at the top except maybe in Normal Academic in Sec 1, I find ianyang very funny, he had the grades to go into, possibly, the most sought after secondary school in Singapore, but instead he chose to stay in an average school where i also ended in(of which i'm very thankful), and somehow, we both ended up in the same CCA as well, which was the chinese orchestra, of course we played different instruments, but our musicality was similar. During our years together in the CO, we worked hard to become the players we are now and in Sec 3, ianyang was made the CO president(expected) and me, the vice-president(totally unexpected). I dont know why, but all these coincidences, it was as if ianyang was to be my true friend, and up till now, i still consider him my truest friend even though we are now in different cca's but the memories we have together and our experiences, like bringing the co together and leading them to the prestigious Gold award in SYF, the MOE music camp which we attended in 2006, where we felt so out of place we just ate together during meal times and talked about other ppl, all these memories, i will never forget them. Okay, now that that has been taken care of, here are my best friends i've had throughout my primary school life... 1. Duncan Ng: what to say? I've known him since like when? Primary 3? He was my best friend in sec 1 and 3, he looked out for me and i for him, we worked together after school hours completing our DnT projects, helping each other out along the way, and getting promoted together in Sec 1 from NA to EXP. I just wanna say, even thought now we're in different institutions, i will treasure our friendship, and when we have the time, its BF2 man. 2. Dean Seah: Haha, now here's a guy, who was like, basketball god during our days in ACSBR, he also was my childhood friend, since like.. primary 1 if i'm not wrong. All the days we had together, watching girls and talking crap, letting each other know each others secrets. man! those were the days, we have to go out sometime with the old gang. 3. Keith Lee: Okay now here's a guy, who is probably the most funny friend i've ever had, all those times of playing RA2 late into the night, and Tiberian Sun, wow, those were crazy man. I remember our days in Pri 1 where we tried to stab each other and you got me with a pencil on my leg(i think i still have the scar). But somehow, i didnt hold anything against you, and instead, we became the best of friends also! with all those sleepovers at your place, and my place and ryan's place, those were good days... 4. Ryan Tay: oh man oh man, i havent been in contact with you for so long i dont even know your MSN, lol. But he was a very good friend when i was pri 3, i went to his house for sleepovers both at his old house and his new house, we played C&C games late into the night and all, and also, he was the one who introduced me to joecartoons(haha, funny shit!). Okay, now on to the secondary side... 1. Bryant Aw: You crazy nutter, one of the people who got top 3 with me for the exams and probably, my shifu when it came to girls during that period. We talked alot durig class, both in sec 1 and 2 and 4. He was my "bro", we were always close, helping each other out and all . All those times you smacked me, ate famous amos during yau's class, those were the days... 2. Edwin Huang: The weird guy, he was always very quiet and funny for his lameness, he draws very well and helped me out as well for my DnT. I'll always remember you for your randomness man, super funny guy... He was also one of the top 3 with me in Sec 1 with B.Aw Okay, from here on i'll just list names with short descriptions unless its a really good friend of mine (i'm tired see?) Gabriel Yong: Lazy slacker and easily influenced by byron, and still cannot play ruan properly. Annnnd, wait... i'll blog more later.. have to do GP now LOL. 0 comments |
