I am here today, to mourn the loss of my Tahara 320GS, which some twisted bastard so cruelly stole from me. But before that, let me lament on one of the worst weeks i have ever had in my entire life. O woe is me...

Okay, so first up is my bike, i chained it up at the so-called "bicycle bay" at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre where i have my tuition, so i left for tuition. At about 8pm when it ended, i went to the spot where my bike had been only to find out it was missing, so yes, i told the security guards but as usual, their incompetency and i-couldn't-give-a-shit-about-your-stuff really put me off. Anyway, i found my chain on the ledge a short while after cut into 2 (See dad? This is the shit you get when you try to squeeze freebies out of bike dealers), well, there was an initial cut which made it through the plastic, but not the metal wiring, the second cut did the job and yes, my bike went missing. I made a police report and even then, i have doubts about getting my bike back. Who would've thought Singapore would be so SAFE (sarcastic of course), it's precisely because of this kind of thing that i want to join SPF and find asshole thieves and put them behind bars. I mean, my bike isn't worth $500 for chrissakes, go steal something else man. And so yes... my wonderful bike which i have had for 5 years, and just recently make a pure bred, got stolen.

Not more than 24 hours later... i found out that i didn't get an honors award! Things just get better and better, okay, my first reaction was... highly annoyed and pissed, and of course UNFAIR, so EFFING BLATANTLY UNFAIR OKAY. After all the freaking blood and sweat i've put into ACCO, the recognition i get for it is... NOTHING. This is by far the most unfair thing in my ENTIRE life. There are loads of things i would like to say but too offensive for public viewing. All i can say is, if what i did for CO is not service, it BLOODY WELL SHOULD BE!

why is this happening to me now? God, why have thou art forsaken me?

Yesterday i went cycling at bukit timah hill again, despite the rainy weather the previous night. So obviously, the ground was pretty muddy. Muddy ground+Undulating terrain+Steep slope=ACCIDENT! Which is what happened to me, what happened was that I gei kiang (act smart) purposely went by the steeper route when there was an alternate route (which i took before) So I wanted to try something new. The slope was probably the steepest so far and posed rocks and what nots sticking out of the gradient. So naturally my bike tire got hit on one of them and i started skidding, then one huge ass rock (which i didn't see) stuck its face out of the ground, and i flew over my bike, i leaned towards my side so i would fall on my left arm. My pelvic bone got jabbed by the bike handle and i scratched my arm and my knee. A few more cm and my father's day would be lost forever. Thank God everything's okay, though my pelvis hurts like hell, but not as bad as when it first happened, i had to sit on the muddy floor and apply pressure to subdue the pain. Anyway, a few lessons learnt, if the ground's muddy, DONT CYCLE! (Even though there were loads of cyclists still) and most importantly... My bike's not a mountain bike, okay it is, a very low end one and definitely not suited for the advanced trail. But i shall go again after prelims!

Anyway, speaking of prelims... only 2 subjects left! and 2 weeks for them to be finished! -.- stupid school, can't they just put everything together so we can get it done chop chop? I know we're supposed to be simulating A level conditions, but A levels doesn't even have 2 3hour papers on the same day!

My elbow is hurting... maybe the fall did something... jizz

Woot, maths p1 and chem p3 gone! Haha, i think i messed up biggie for those 2 papers, but hopefully the rest of the parts i can score and try to save myself! (I should be studying for maths p2 tmr)

Anyway, my sister fixed my blogger! Yay! So i can post pictures now! (not that i have any) Anyway, i went cycling today, and my bike, after 5 years, has finally become a pure-bred mountain bike! For the first time i cycled on the mountain bike trail (which i found out later was actually an ADVANCED biker trail, which probably explains the 70 degree uphill and downhill slopes, and the endless rocky trails which hurt my ass like hell, but it was really fun! I think i shall one day cycle to mandai through the trail, or maybe go try out the trail at the old Boys' Brigade HQ at buona vista. Anyone interested can sms me! Just be sure to have a mountain bike and fully pumped tires.

Oh, and there's this really good view midway of the cycling track which is really good, i never expected to see something like that in Singapore, it's the view of the rock quarry i think, the field looked more like a prairie and was wide and green, really nice... I think i'm gonna cycle that way at least once a week from now on.

Maths paper 2 FTW!

You know, people who take maths, physics and chemistry really have it tough. Why? I shall explain it today...

Firstly, we learn similar symbols that can stand for ALOT of things! For example, V, to a chem student, V would stand for the Transition element, Vanadium (V), for a physics student, it can mean 2 things, velocity (v) and Volt (V) which is the SI unit for measuring potential difference. And in maths, V can be used in multiple ways, for defining random variables. So all 3 combined together... WHOA, that's confusing man!

Secondly, when you learn physics, your maths get better, so that's good! But then your carelessness you make in maths will go to physics as well... So yeah...

Lastly (till i find more problems) is the link between physics and chemistry. If you take physics and chemistry together, when you do a chemistry question, you will think deeper and deeper till you have to use physics to explain, likewise for physics questions! So yes, please take pity on those who take physics, chemistry and maths concurrently...

Wow, it's been quite some time since i last blogged, since i ponned school today, i think i shall do a post then!

Well, while i was away from blogging, alot has happened, first up i would like to talk about the LIU Xing concert which i went to, it was pretty good i must say, although yunnanhuiyu was a abit of a disappointment cos there were some technical errors, but his experience and control in playing the Zhong Ruan is really something else. He's so calm and looks so relaxed on stage, yet his emotions are just portrayed perfectly. Manuel Barrueco was also fantastic, his experience in playing the guitar really showed that night.

Another highlight would be that China TanBoYue group that came to play at the NAFA concert hall! Now that was really inspiring, thanks PY for accompanying me! And I-ming too! The youngsters were really skilled and played really well, the conductor was just imba, with bubbly-man shouting a "HAO" like... a millisecond after his performance was over.

Hais, i guess now it's time to buckle down and study, no more concerts, no more going out till Prelims are over, then maybe i'll give myself 2 days of relaxation. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, Mr Lau just told me the other day that my teachers can see i'm doing work, but the results are not showing, i have no idea why. Hopefully i can get through A's... Well, one thing to look forward to, NS! I can't wait to enlist! But i want to go SPF, not SAF, hopefully i'll get it :)

On another note, a person (i can't remember who) one said, it is human nature to look for relationships, God made it that way, when Adam was created, God saw he was lonely and made Eve.

For me, there is still one Eve. Happy Birthday Singapore!
