Monday, March 31, 2008 ( @ 8:42 PM ) So, as i have mentioned above, i went back to barker to collect my O level cert, and since i was there, i decided to go visit some teachers, but in the end i only saw vlam and yms and seio, wanted to say hi to avelyn, but she was having class so yeah... Found out from ls abt all my missing friends, where they went to, what they're studying and all, its good to get updated about these sort of things. Went for ACSBR co today, they were playing yao zu, and i can say that i'm appalled by the standard of the playing and the attitude of the players, of course i'm impressed by some of my juniors at the same time, but majority were not what i expected them to be.. anyway, left early to go home and do work but instead i knocked off and woke up just now... No sleep for me tonight... Woke up late on friday, but i cabbed down to school so i wasnt really late, realised that friday was preparation day for fun-o-rama. Anyway, went out of school to get materials for class games stall, and to obtain these materials, i went to BTP to get them, and in case you guys didnt know, popular sells SPRAYPAINT, so convenient... Got back to school at about 1pm to close accounts for fun-o-rama tickets(which closes by 2) only to realise that i had followed wrong instructions and so i had to run down to clememti's big bookshop to buy the rest of the materials, at that time it was 1.45, 15 minutes to deadline, so i cabbed back to school and praise God, i made it in time. Prepped for fun-o-rama for the rest of the day and at about 5 i had to leave to go prepare for guard duty soon after, ken and nick came over to shower and clean up at my place cos they too were doing guard duty, we were chatting and talking about how fun it would be, but in the end turned out we were all too tired to play anything. Anyways, i was posted to Shift 1 Patrol B, which meant we had to take the long patrol around the school complex, my patrol is quite nice, they were so on about it, in total we made around 5 rounds round the school. Our route was quite freaky at one point, because we had to go check out the west lodge, which i heard was abandoned and possibly being used for art classes, and inside one of the classrooms was a skeleton model, so yeah, it was quite, surprising. Anyway, made knew friends and all! My shift ended at 12mn, and i went to shower cos it was very humid that night, went to sleep at the void deck cos there was fan there, but turns out it was very hard to sleep even with fan, in the end i'd say i had 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep, after that like after every 20 minutes i woke up and had to adjust myself cos my back hurt like hell. So i had a very long night. Okay, the whole thing ended at 6.30 am and we decided(me, nick, ken and harold) to go back to my place to clean up again for fun-o-rama, bussed home and cabbed there, reached there at about 8 am. Funorama was okay i would say, not as fun as the barker carnival, maybe because i was too tired to enjoy it and it was blazing hot, even when it rained and after. So, here are the people that i supported: Irvin and Binsoon(fish and chips), Teresa(mashed potato), Michael Lo(chin chow), michael chee(sconers cafe), ianyang(sconers cafe), kelly(sconers cafe), weikeat(sconers cafe), peiyan(sconers cafe), vivian(hotdog), nick(milkshake), jarron(butter chicken and naan). Yep, so if any of you did not go play at my games stall.. tsk tsk... As you can see i didnt play any games that day, so, sorry to:daryle, iming, jinlin, jake. Haha. I met quite alot of old friends that day, duncan, daniel, amiel, xavier, bryant, roy, saiful, kenny, xavier(the other one) and some others and my old teachers! haha, so nice of them... Oh ya, bought a ACJC special edition shirt for 30 bux, which is insane crazy, but i guess its all for a good cause. Got early leave from ms ong cos i was feeling very tired and all from the previous night and once i got home i just knocked-off and woke up just now only. Hahas, fun, and with jonnie also, talked about the times we had together back in June last year in Japan, haha, funny shit... Anw, decided to follow the cello group out because they too were going out to celebrate Grace's birthday, went to holland village, but in the end we still got split up, the tanbo group went to the hawker center, and the cello group went to BK, we spent alot of time on useless debating on where to eat, and in the end still end up at a hawker center, LOL. Met up with the cello group at swensons to eat dessert, so lame, daryle was making stupid comments on green coloured ice-cream, so lame. Played ass hole taiti and i kept killing vivian so yeah haha, sorry! After dinner something really spoilt my mood, i really really can't believe it and i'm beginning to question myself and my relationship... Ok on a lighter note, went to church today, my mood wasnt really good, didnt feel like going to church because i stayed up till very late last night trying to sort things out, but i still went and i'm very thankful for that. Today is easter sunday in case some of you dont know, its the day that Jesus rose again after he was crucified. There was this song that went "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow; Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living just because He lives." It's my 100th post!!! haha, it would've been earlier if not for someone (whose next post happened to be the 100th one also), so out of the goodness of my heart, i decided to wait and post today, the same day as that someone... I was thinking what i could post about to make my 100th post really meaningful, and i thought really long (about 15 minutes or so), but i've finally come up with one. These are the pictures, that i'll never forget...  My ym group, the FOBians. My acjc tanbo group... My OG group.. DILLI! My CO gang... The people i'll always remember as the "badminton people" 1SB8 PAE...Haha, good memories from JC mostly, i have alot from my secondary life, but i never took photos, but rest assured, they stay in my heart forever... Lets not forget what today is, Monty thursday, where Jesus was betrayed by Judas and crucified the next day on Good friday, let us all remember that He gave His only Son to die for us. Amen. In all my life in CO.. i think, it was very boring... sighz 0 comments Tuesday, March 11, 2008 ( @ 3:09 PM ) Today, i am going to post about friends I would like to talk about some people in my life who are my friends, REAL friends, true friends, and good friends. Note:the names are in random order(so don't feel inferior.) Okay the first guy, is probably my best and true friend and i regard him very highly. He is, Ian yang, yes he is, and if you're reading this, i regard you as a true and a very good friend. I've known ianyang since like, primary 1? It all started when we took the same school bus, we started playing quest and all, i'll always remember those days haha. We were quite the opposite i must say, he was from a very educated family and his studies were always the top, whereas me, i was just a normal kid, or sometimes lower than that, i was never anywhere at the top except maybe in Normal Academic in Sec 1, I find ianyang very funny, he had the grades to go into, possibly, the most sought after secondary school in Singapore, but instead he chose to stay in an average school where i also ended in(of which i'm very thankful), and somehow, we both ended up in the same CCA as well, which was the chinese orchestra, of course we played different instruments, but our musicality was similar. During our years together in the CO, we worked hard to become the players we are now and in Sec 3, ianyang was made the CO president(expected) and me, the vice-president(totally unexpected). I dont know why, but all these coincidences, it was as if ianyang was to be my true friend, and up till now, i still consider him my truest friend even though we are now in different cca's but the memories we have together and our experiences, like bringing the co together and leading them to the prestigious Gold award in SYF, the MOE music camp which we attended in 2006, where we felt so out of place we just ate together during meal times and talked about other ppl, all these memories, i will never forget them. Okay, now that that has been taken care of, here are my best friends i've had throughout my primary school life... 1. Duncan Ng: what to say? I've known him since like when? Primary 3? He was my best friend in sec 1 and 3, he looked out for me and i for him, we worked together after school hours completing our DnT projects, helping each other out along the way, and getting promoted together in Sec 1 from NA to EXP. I just wanna say, even thought now we're in different institutions, i will treasure our friendship, and when we have the time, its BF2 man. 2. Dean Seah: Haha, now here's a guy, who was like, basketball god during our days in ACSBR, he also was my childhood friend, since like.. primary 1 if i'm not wrong. All the days we had together, watching girls and talking crap, letting each other know each others secrets. man! those were the days, we have to go out sometime with the old gang. 3. Keith Lee: Okay now here's a guy, who is probably the most funny friend i've ever had, all those times of playing RA2 late into the night, and Tiberian Sun, wow, those were crazy man. I remember our days in Pri 1 where we tried to stab each other and you got me with a pencil on my leg(i think i still have the scar). But somehow, i didnt hold anything against you, and instead, we became the best of friends also! with all those sleepovers at your place, and my place and ryan's place, those were good days... 4. Ryan Tay: oh man oh man, i havent been in contact with you for so long i dont even know your MSN, lol. But he was a very good friend when i was pri 3, i went to his house for sleepovers both at his old house and his new house, we played C&C games late into the night and all, and also, he was the one who introduced me to joecartoons(haha, funny shit!). Okay, now on to the secondary side... 1. Bryant Aw: You crazy nutter, one of the people who got top 3 with me for the exams and probably, my shifu when it came to girls during that period. We talked alot durig class, both in sec 1 and 2 and 4. He was my "bro", we were always close, helping each other out and all . All those times you smacked me, ate famous amos during yau's class, those were the days... 2. Edwin Huang: The weird guy, he was always very quiet and funny for his lameness, he draws very well and helped me out as well for my DnT. I'll always remember you for your randomness man, super funny guy... He was also one of the top 3 with me in Sec 1 with B.Aw Okay, from here on i'll just list names with short descriptions unless its a really good friend of mine (i'm tired see?) Gabriel Yong: Lazy slacker and easily influenced by byron, and still cannot play ruan properly. Annnnd, wait... i'll blog more later.. have to do GP now LOL. 0 comments |
