I shall now procedd to talk about friday! which was yesterday, so ytd there was no school cos CPA opening! YAY! I thought i could sleep in but instead ended up spending even more energy, woke up at 930, bussed down to newton for badminton, but courts only available at 11, so waited abt an hour, trashed iming and mike, then after that went to parklane for pool, met up with jojo there, and jake is a hidden talent player man, better watch out when pooling with him. HAha, went to sakae for buffet, not very good i must say, i prefer hanabi ANYDAY man, so yeah, next time you want to eat jap buffet, go hanabi! and i wont settle for anything less, so there! Oh and, orchard road is screeeeeeeeeeeewed man, so damn crowded la! its like.. people here and people there... like, no end of people!!! TOO many people!!! haha. Okay, interesting day hmm... 0 comments ( @ 6:12 PM ) enCOre '08 was definitely one to remember, woke up that morning with a slight fever of around 37.1-37.4. But i told myself i gotta pull through and make it for the concert, eventually my fever subsided to abround 36, so thank God, really. Anyway, cabbed to school cos i thought i was going to be late, met up there, bombarded with "are you okay?" questions, put bag down and got ready for moving stuff to SCH. Havent been to SCH in a long time, quite memorable for me there, had my first SYF there (DUH~), i remember it was 2005, and back then everyone had a bleak outlook for barker co, but we pulled through, and got a Gold for the school, it was such an experience, complete with standing ovation from the crowd somemore! I can still remember that feeling, it was great, and at that time, dagui was our barker "signature" song. And then again in '07, where things did not look good for the CO, and at that time i was vice-chairman somemore, but yet again we pulled through with yet another Gold, hais, the times in barker, never forget those man. ANYWAY, back to encore, yeah, so we practiced outside the hall, took pics, practiced in the hall, took more pics again(shall upload these later). Haha, vivian was bitching about how she wanted to be the only one to wear the "hot pink" tie, but in the end she had to lend me one, so there 2, then mengtian also wore one, so there were 3, then the xuanyuezu got one more! so that made 4 pink ties! and a very unhappy vivian. HAHA. Dinner there was like crap pls, the broccoli was either too raw or too overcooked, i wasnt sure which one it was, but my mum said the problem is that they cook it, and once it's cooked, they cover it up, so it continues cooking. So yeah, it sucked. Met up with the whole barker co again! so great seeing them again, all the nonsense we had together haha. Took loads of pics again even after encore with ACCO, for memory sakes, and iming had all our belongings!!! and she wasnt there!!! so we had to waiiiiiiiiiit for uncle iming to pass us our barang, thanks uncle iming! After that, omg, okay after that, at the ACJC bus stop... cannot say, i think if i say here i might get arrested the next day HAHA lol. Anyway, went to kap with the whole barker gang, we missed the last 74!!! so we had to cab, of course we contemplated our altenatives, alex wanted to call macs to the bus stop, but obviously no. So like, yeah, 4-5 cab loads of barker guys all going to kap, it was fun, never laughed so much. Reminisced about the japan trip days, omg damn fun, we should have smth like that la, freakinnnnnngggg fun i tell you, and somemore acco, how much fun la. Hmm, maybe if i become pres i'll push for an overseas trip next year... Thanks to all those who showed care and concern. Had chinese oral today, didnt go quite as smoothly as i had anticipated it to be. Had sorethroat during the thingy, so my words were kinda screechy at some point and normal at one point. 2 more days to encore... I think the fun-ness level in tanbo will go down... 0 comments Sunday, May 04, 2008 ( @ 12:33 AM ) Woke up at 7 to go CO earlier to change strings from normal to prfoessional, but of course i used my old strings, but they still sound better than normal new strings. Okay, had combine, this time played with harp and blablabla. Waited for im to be done with her sl thingy then went out. Wanted to go marina square cos jk had church at suntec, but somehow we landed up at like.. wisma, then changed bus to smth smth, and eventually reached marina. and then came the number one thinker... where to have dinner? at first we voted, 2 of us were for foodcourt, the other 2 were for sakae, and the last was neither here nor there, haha, but interestingly enough, we went to neither and ended up at cafe cartel and ateeeeeeeeeee.... RIBS! ohman, it was damn huge la, i couldnt eat it all and ended up giving mike 1/4 of my meat cos it was wayyyyyy to much, i din even noe how mike could tank the whole lot la haha. Ok, then after that, felt quite sick, but it soon subsided. Okay after that, went to the cinema, saw the timings, ironman.. 910... so like, okay, nvm forget it and somemore only 1st row was available, so forget it. Then we explored other alternatives, went to the AXS machine, there were free ones at tampines mall, vivo and tiong bahru, but in the end decided all were to far and we thought it would be better to find one in town. So we thought of our alternatives, Cathay, but all were 9+ also. then we realised that suntec also had one cinema, Eng Wah, the show was at 9 and there were seats available 4th row from the front, so we watched ironman. Was quite good, nice balance of humor and more action, actually it could use more action. Then after show it was like... 11+ and all the shops were closed, when we exited the cinema it was all quiet and freaky... Then i said "this is quite freaky" or smth liddat, then im went on to say "why? scared the mannequins will move?" then out of nowhere some voice played form some kiddy machine and im like, grabbed my arm. So like, she scared herself which is very shibai. Oh and, she was carrying a pipa which was freaking heavy and ex too... the value was like................................. ok nvm, cannot say, later someone steal she blame me. Ok, then me mike and jk walked ALL THE WAY from marina to raffles city to catch a 171......... A 171!!!!, where i couldve like, walked to esplanade and taken a 77? 171? 174? overall it was quite fun la, haha, once in a while is good... haha, i think.... i almost killed ppl with the pipa today la, damn dangerous.
