Anyway, his pipa skills are really something else and also, he's in charge of welfare of ACCO! Important seh! Brian: Knew him back in Secondary 1 when he first started learning liuqin, but soon later changed to pipa for its versatility in producing different sounds. Anyway, i knew him as the boy who could fit into the locker for some time, and now is a good friend of mine. As secretary of ACCO, he has alot of saikang to do but nonetheless, he is the most competent for that job. Serene: All i know, is that she is one hard working girl, definitely determined in what she does and her determination is something everyone should admire. Kudos to her for her hard work. she is also a Diploma holder in Piano! waseh! As Score secretary of ACCO, she gets quite alot of saikang also printing scores and all, but she so far done one helluva job! And so as you can see, with such a talented and determined section, there really isn't much the section leader (me) can do. I thank God for these people, and for iming who has given me tips on how to be a better SL. I will try my best to bond section even further just like iming has done with our seniors! And now, spirito... First up, JuHuaTai, which is some Jay Chou song. It was quite good actually, quite alot of feeling, even my sister wants the recording of the song now! Colours Of the Wind, was pretty much the same, we are so used to it. Long Chuan, I just hope it was good practice for brian and jake. Shui Lian, Okay, just pure boring. San Liu, I think it was pretty good, the tanbo section did their best and it definitely came out the way it should've. Chun Yang did a great job on the xylo as well! Ballade Pour Adeline, Well, Pei Yan was performing that solo, should be sufficient explanation on how it went. Jiang nan something something, Guang Wei and Xuan Han showed us what they could do together, impressive performance so my folks say. Lan Se De Si Nian, The highlight of the whole concert, i think it was quite good, the only mistake i could hear on the video tape was the um, haha, if you wanna know just msn me. But yeah, if we had a nice FULL orchestra i.e 50-80, the song would DEFINITELY be better. Mambo, Well, this song is basically a joke, so its all good. After the concert, the ex barker gang waited for the acco barker gang outside LT3 and we took mass pictures, after which we got seperated and in the end me jarron mike irvin gab jake and alex went to KAP to chill and talk about the "GOOD" times. Thanks to all who came down to support either me or ACCO! Do support again next year! To all the new people, Amanda Choo, Joyce, Sheena, Shu Qiao, Wei Ling, Nitta, Wang Pei, all the effort you have put in shows something, the passion for CO, keep it up and don't let it die. To Irvin, good job leading the CO, for once, i think you may be right about ACCO getting Gold with Honors next year. To Miss Chow, good job helping irvin? Haha, thanks for all the advice on everything. I know about 60% of the people mentioned would never read this post, but who cares... I will upload pictures another time! And now... Sunday! Okay, thanks ALOT to KEN HO for giving me monster hunter which is, INSANELY fun, i think i'm going to get addicted... Well, today's sermon was about obedience and sacrifices, and that we should give complete obedience to God. Saw Aunt Lena and Unc Matt too! they sure seem to come back alot. haha. Anyway, Jinlin came to school to meet us, then we went to holland v for lunch and met up with vivian there. Then we went to town with the intent to watch a movie, but since vivian was so gung ho about playing LAN, and me and gabriel didn't really mind that idea either we decided to go play LAN, oh and.. iming joined us at PS also. So we went to paradiz to play, vivian wasnt too bad, jinlin and iming were close to "free-frags". Daryle joined us shortly after and started owning. Played pool after LAN and went home... Some birthday celebration huh? I think badminton would've been better. 0 comments Thursday, November 20, 2008 ( @ 11:23 PM ) Recently McDonalds in Singapore has come up with this new idea, the MEGAS! So basically, its like, Big mac, 3 buns and 2 patties, now there's the MEGA mac, which is 3 buns but 4 PATTIES! not too bad, BK still owns them though. But here's the catch, the MEGA mac is SGD$4.75, whereas a double cheeseburger (2 buns 2 patties) is only SGD$2.00. So my friend mike, conveniently came to this conclusion....  TADAA!!! Presenting the REAL MEGA MAC, a.k.a the double cheeseburger EX! Which is basically 2 double cheeseburgers STACKED, if you see carefully, the Double Cheeseburger EX in the picture has only 3 buns, but if you calculate, by right there are supposed to be 4 buns, but for this picture there are only 3 cos mike was busy downing the other bun. But that aside, as you can see, there are still 4 patties, 3 buns (plus 1 bun if you can control yourself) and it only costs SGD$4.00! AMAZING! but of course, there are no veggies... Today i finally know that BK is really KING of burgers, and i mean KING, and what made it king is this...  This is seriously king... Its called the ballsy burger basically cos its for people with BALLS! Like, seriously, it has 4 patties, 4 cheese slices. OWN! And jarron me and mike all ordered the same, so thats like... 12 PATTIES! OWNAGE! There was the normal, then the next was brave, which has 3 patties, then BALLSY, with 4 patties! And jarron convinced me to buy it since he said it's a once in a lifetime thing, so chiong lo.. I had a abit of trouble eating the last bit tho, it got kinda tasteless cos there was only the patty remaining... Oh, and the guy who served us probably thought we couldnt handle the heat cos he asked jarron to repeat his order, and i think he got quite shocked when mike and me said "same as him". Haha, but yes... we all have balls and we totally owned BK today...  Encased in the white package on the tray lies... THIS MONSTER!!! I've been listening to songs practically the whole day, and it struck me before but i never really said it, but most songs are probably composed due to breakups, like, seriously. In fact, some sentences of certain songs really hit me. 0 comments ( @ 7:10 AM ) On another note, (LOL) shenls said that i really should go take lessons with zhangls to further my ruan training, if not it'd be a pity that i didn't. But the problem is. she's too expensive!!! I mean, if the school subsidized i wouldn't mind at all, but right now, ACCO is abit tight on funds, so let's leave that for another time... I really don't mind learning under zhangls, heck! I might even make music my career! Not say instructors earn peanuts you know. After a VERY tiring day of CO, me irvin and mike went to sunset foodpark again to eat dinner, partly cos there was no dinner for me waiting at home, so i dragged them out along with me! But let's leave that for later after i come back from my gran's place. 0 comments Friday, November 14, 2008 ( @ 9:08 PM ) Monday: Went to school again as usual to study, made sure i got work done cos the next day i was going out to play badminton. So i chionged chem and whacked up 2 major chapters. Played frisbee for about 2 hours before dadz came to pick me up. I almost "killed" my friend with the frisbee! But she admits she is prone to it though! Tuesday: Went to cairnhill cc to play badminton! Only to find out that the hall was being renovated and won't be available till 3 days after, so we went down to thomsom cc to play. After shagging ourselves out silly... we went to United Square to chillex and talk. Was really tired that day and immediately fell asleep as soon as i touched the bed... Wednesday: Went to school again in the morning to study a little and swim abit. Went out for lunch with Lydia at subway (i think she still owes me money), and had CO after that which was like... super sian again, cos alot of people weren't around due to several reasons and help was supposed to come but it didnt... so what the heck... Thursday: Went to school in the morning for co and stock take. I just realised that ACCO has really really ancient instruments and a heck-of-alot of zhong ruans, and some of them are like, brand new... but there's only 1 player -.- so its kinda a waste... Went out after stock take with mathieu, irvin and mike to watch madagascar, i think it's quite funny and i'm sure anyone would as well, met up with jarron after but he and mathieu had to go see someone in the hospital. Saw Jake at PS and bussed home together after that... Friday: Went to school again, but this time to study chem again. Chiong-ed and finished up another 2 major chapters! If you calculate.. that makes 4 major chapters done! Electrochemistry, Chemical Bonding, Equilibria and Chemical Energetics! Not bad i guess... Peiyan studied abit with me after her MEP thingy while waiting for MAC. And thank you to iming who brought me lunch!!! Though it was crap, but free crap always tastes better! haha... thank you thank you thank you! And had a free meal from some random people also... Today was... one heck of a day. Be honest with me, i don't think you have been. When you said that day you felt something else but you wouldn't tell me, you felt touched didn't you? you won't say but i can tell you were, no girl wouldn't be. I want to know the truth, the plain honest truth. And i don't mean what you've been saying so far, i want the truth out from your heart. If you are not ready, just say so. I just want to know, if this has been a lie or not.If you are scared, i tell you now. There's a first for everything, and you mean so much to me i want you to be my first, and my last. And if you're unsure, then i say, I am sure. I haven't been for the past 17 years of my life, but I am sure of one thing, this feeling, is none like any other. Don't throw me down, you know i won't fall, and even if i do, i'll just pick myself up and try again. You mean so much to me i will never let you go. And let this be my promise to you, if it ever works out between us, i will never let you go for a second... or maybe a minute or two... Then i met up with some of my classmates who were doing their PW and bummed around. Friday: OP day, i can't believe i was actually shaking during my OP, i didn't feel nervous, but i didn't feel cold either, so what made me shake? Hmm, overall, i think i did okay for my OP, i think a B is very possible. After OP stayed back in school to study, or at least that was what was intended, but in the end i decided to go on home cos i was super sian, and watched Avatar throughout the rest of the afternoon. Saturday: CO, omg CO. I was super sian after playing lan se de si nian once through, just so sian. I wanted to just leave, but i have found new reasons to go for CO, and for that reason i will pull through CO. Went out with jake brian mike and irvin to KAP after to just chill, did some really childish stuff and had a good talk about CO. I wonder how brian's p*n*l* blanket is coming along... Sunday (today): Went to YM, listened to the centralized teaching which was about relationships. Went out with SG to watch Quantum of Solace, which is a, erm... quite a story i must say, it really is some story, never before seen! Okay, maybe it could compete with lakeview terrace or smth, haha. Then did more stuffs and now i'm here blogging. This holidays ain't gonna be much of a holiday for me. Unless something happens. I need to tell you something. Irvin, Mike and harold. Ken organized the whole thing and we were to meet at 10am at cairnhill cc, but hohoho, ken himself WOKE up at 10, then made his down, by the time he came, we were all sweating like mad dogs. But i still challenged ken and lost.. AGAIN, but this time the score was 7-6. Dang, next time next time, i'll own you CLEAN. After badminton, the guys wanted to go back to ACJS to erm, reminisce? So, we went there and took pictures while i sat around and waited as they met up with their old teachers. AND, we had lunch there! Super super cheap i tell you, all in all i spent 2.70 for 2 bowls of noodles, 6 pieces of wanton and 1 drink. CHEAP! But now in ACJC, lol... After the ACJS visit, went back to barker for CO combined. Must say, the CO is huge! really really big, maybe like, 4 times the size of ACCO? But one thing, they erm, are not really competent in what they do. While they certainly have the quantity, they lack the quality, maybe even TOTALLY. I feel obliged to help, but ACCO is restricting me. But after an hour, the thingy still wasn't off and lo and behold, it would be on for another half hour, so i decided, forget it, just take a shower and go back to studying. Then, shortly after, played frisbee with ianyang and lydia till i-dunno-when time and went back to studying, then frisbee again. Went out with my SG last sunday, watched lakeview terrace. NOTE: It is NOT a comedy, NOR a romance film. It is 100% erm... pure backstabbing film, (if there's such a genre in the first place). But i won't spoiler anything... These past few days, i've had more time to think about the year and what has happened. All i can say is, whoa.
